COVID-19 Precautions

Due to COVID-19, UWPA is taking precautions at our office to keep our staff and the general public safe. While our front office is open, all visitors must wear masks when coming into the building. Additionally, UWPA is holding Board meetings remotely. Instructions to join meetings are posted on UWPA’s monthly Board meeting agendas, which can be viewed here.

Hazard Mitigation Plan Public Survey

We need your help! Please click here to fill out a survey regarding the natural hazards in our community.

UWPA is working with Union Public Utility District (UPUD) and City of Angels (COA) on a multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan. Public input is an important part of this plan, which is why we need help from our community. Once this plan is complete, UWPA will be eligible to apply for millions in grant funding from Cal OES and FEMA.
