Calaveras County Water District (CCWD), Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD), Twain Harte Community Services District (THCSD), Utica Water and Power Authority (Utica), and Union Public Utility District (UPUD), are proud to announce their ongoing collaborative efforts to enhance wildfire resiliency in the foothills and help inform the public on the role of public water agencies in wildfire response.

With the increasing threat of wildfires, these foothill agencies have joined forces to continue to enhance wildfire preparedness and resiliency, and public information within our region. By implementing a comprehensive approach and engaging local agency and community partners, these combined efforts aim to create a safer and more resilient community.

The primary initiative of the group was to develop a comprehensive and coordinated public information campaign aimed at raising awareness about the role that public water agencies play in enhancing wildfire resiliency.
